Frog ID Week Frogging Foray

Have you ever been Frogging & want to learn about our native frogs? Would you like to help scientists find & record Australia’s frogs? SLNC is hosting a FREE Frogging adventure on Saturday 12th November. This event will suit keen froggers or people who want to get more experience in using the Frog ID app but don’t want to hunt around the bush at night alone. 

Dr David Manning will meet participants at Habitat Springs car park in Springfield Lakes.

Please download the FREE Frog ID app from the Google Playstore before you attend. You can start recording frog calls that you find in Greater Springfield and anywhere you hear frogs calling before the frogging foray & after the event as the scientists at the National Museum are keen to get as many recordings of frog calls  to get a picture of how our native frogs are coping with climate change.
