In 2022 Greater Springfield will celebrate 30 years of evolving into the vibrant community it is today, with a young population of approximately 50, 000 residents.
As an emerging city, Greater Springfield recognises the importance of celebrating the diversity of our community, and we invite you to share in the experience.
Immerse yourself in the Magic!
The inaugural Arts Magic 2022 festival will bring together the best in the arts in South-East-Queensland and explore artist expression through movement, music and visual arts.
Arts Magic 2022 is a city-wide program that seeks to engage the community and particularly our youth through creative workshop and demonstrations encouraging creative expression, guided by industrial professionals.
There will be a Kids Pop Up Art Studio Workshop 26 – 30 September at Orion Springfield Central hosted by Swell with Monte Lupo.
The festival will culminate in a finale in Robelle Domain on 14th October 2022, 5pm – 7.30pm, with professional performances by Queensland Ballet, CIRCA Zoo, ADC and Prospero Arts as well as a drop in arts workshop display by QPAC.
Our vision is to stimulate and activate the local arts and culture eco-system and embed the important role that arts plays in the past, present and our future.
Our aim is to leave a lasting impression, to stimulate and ignite a love of arts in the hearts and minds of our region.
