The Springfield City Zero Net Energy Vision means that by 2038, the six suburbs that make up the city of Springfield City will be generating more energy than they consume. 

It’s an exciting challenge but chasing the ultimate goal sees both companies exploring innovative ways to deal with energy and deliver better city ideas across Springfield City. The alliance engages the community, stakeholders, government and others to deliver innovative goals. 

Under the alliance, investments are being planned in renewable energy generation and storage infrastructure, district energy schemes, green mobility solutions, digital technology, energy efficiency initiatives and a dedicated research and innovation centre.
