Breakfast with Ash Barty

Springfield City Group staff and guests were honoured to be joined by our Greater Springfield city ambassador, proud Indigenous woman and former international tennis star, Ash Barty.

The event, held at Brookwater Golf and Country, was attended by business and community members, as well as representatives from our 11 Greater Springfield schools.

Guests enjoyed a Q and A session hosted by Kendall Gidling from Channel 7 where Ash talked about her younger years, love of her home community, key influences and what drives her to succeed.

Ash also spoke about some of her future goals and dreams, including how she is committed to creating sport and education opportunities for youth in communities around Australia.
